3D Printed Triceratops Skull, Enamel, Acrylic Paint, Glass
Another experiment in making a traditionally bulletproof skull into something delicate.
Modern animals do not have quite the form that dinosaurs did. Fossils are, by definition, mineralized casts of bone. This makes them difficult to carve sometimes, either because they’re way harder or way softer than bone (depending on the mineral).
Real dinosaur skulls are aslo HUGE, and as much as I would love to sink months into carving the frill of a triceratops, I felt a smaller replica was more appropriate and more achievable.
Perhaps one day.
