If we are each the center of our known universe, we have many other bodies to interact with. Some are passing. Some stay in orbit. Some stay until their light burns out.

I think often about people I know and knew. It’s like admiring stars in the sky or trees in a forest. I lost a handful of these this year, and some last year. Their absence is still painful to think about for too long.

We hold up a lot. Even when we’re doing well. Thank yourself for moving you forward, and give love to people who have been there for and with you. I have never met many of you. It’s likely we will never physically cross paths. But I would miss you.

Thank you for your love and your support. Thank you for allowing me to have a community even when I’m too busy and tired to be present all the time.

We move forward.
